Warmley Park School

Nursery expansion · Warmley, South Gloucestershire

Single-storey timber-clad nursery building at Warmley Park School, with a glazed entrance, canopy, car park and zebra crossing
The nursery building, as built.

Warmley Park School is a special school for pupils with severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder. The nursery expansion is a single-storey extension: an extra room for the children, a meeting room, a toilet and storage.

The extra space is for eight more children and four more staff. The site was already marked as an area of future expansion when the nursery was first built. Alongside the building, the scheme includes car parking and access — additional spaces, disabled bays and a minibus turning area — so overflow parking lost to development on the adjoining former Grange School site can be replaced. Building the car park and the nursery extension together keeps the school operational while the work is done.

South Gloucestershire Council approved the nursery expansion in June 2024. A project listed here is selected experience. It is not a claim to have led every commercial role on the job.
